Mariia Lisovska is a Vienna-based filmmaker, director and visual artist originally from Kharkiv, Ukraine. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Film and Television Directing from the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, and is currently completing her Master’s program in Fine Arts  at the University of Applied Arts Vienna.

Her diverse portfolio bridges cinema and contemporary art, spanning fiction and documentary shorts, commercial videos and an extensive collection of gallery pieces crafted from diverse, experimental materials.

Working in the industry since 2019 across various production roles, Mariia has collaborated with numerous production companies and close-knit teams of professionals. Over the years, she has built trusted creative crews ready to launch projects in Vienna, Warsaw and Kyiv.
